The historic agreement between the United States and the United Arab Emirates announced this Thursday, August 13, 2020, by Donald Trump offers an important diplomatic victory for the American president, less than three months before the elections.

Haiti: Haitian migrants stranded in Panama in dire conditions
In Panama, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tension is at its height in the overcrowded migrant camps. Before, Costa Rica, a country bordering Panama, allowed the passage of a hundred migrants every day. But, the border is now closed. Among the migrants, nearly 1,600 Haitians were surprised by the pandemic in their exile to the United States and are now stranded.
