Fire broke out in Tianhe Building on Dieshan Road, Nanchang City Continued: The open flame was extinguished, no casualties
China Jiangxi Net/Jiangxi Headline News Client Reporter Ouyang Xing reports: At 14:01 on August 15th, the garbage pipe between the 14th and 15th floors of Tianhe Building, Dieshan Road, Donghu District, Nanchang City caught fire. Nanchang Fire Department received an alarm Immediately afterwards, 8 fire rescue stations, 13 fire trucks, and 78 officers and soldiers rushed to the scene for disposal.
Nanchang City Fire Rescue Detachment stated that at 14:05, the first batch of rescue forces arrived at the scene and found that the garbage pipe between the 14th and 15th floors caught fire with heavy smoke and people were trapped on the floor. At the site, measures such as blockage of internal pipelines in sections, external fire extinguishing by high-spray vehicles, and evacuation of personnel layer by layer were taken for disposal. After the on-site commanders tried their best to put out the fire, the open flame was extinguished at 14:50, and 35 people were evacuated without casualties.
It is understood that the location of the fire was the external garbage pipe on the 14th to 15th floors. The area of the fire was about 50 square meters, and the fire material was garbage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
