Chinanews, August 15 According to the official Weibo news of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on August 14th, Jiangsu added 2 confirmed cases imported from abroad (1 imported from the Philippines and 1 imported from Singapore. All were treated in isolation at designated hospitals in Nanjing). As of 24:00 on August 14th, a total of 661 confirmed cases have been reported in the province (including 30 imported from abroad). Except for 6 confirmed imported cases from abroad, they have been discharged from the hospital for isolation and treatment in designated hospitals.
There were no new asymptomatic infections that day. As of 24:00 on August 14th, 6 cases of asymptomatic infections under centralized isolation and medical management were all imported from abroad.
At present, 14,335 close contacts of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections have been traced across the province, 14,084 people have been released from medical observation, and 251 people are still under medical observation.
