The mother and her former partner were arrested on the suspicion of injury in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward, saying that she was hit by the eldest son at the time and was injured. The eldest son has been unconscious or has broken his arm, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating it as having suspected repeated abuse.

The arrests were Yuki Okima (26), an unidentified professor in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, and a former store associate, an employee of a sex shop in Izumi-ku, Yokohama, and Junki Mukoyama (26).

According to a person involved in the investigation, the suspect Okima said in January that he had hit the face and feet of the eldest son, who was 3 years old, in the room of his apartment at the time of his injury. The same eldest son (2 years old at the time) was injured by pulling his ears, etc.

Last January, the eldest son was taken to a hospital unconscious, and the Metropolitan Police Department who received the report was investigating the suspected abuse.

Also, I had had a broken arm before, and the nursery school nursery teacher I used to attend had contacted the department in charge of the ward.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the detailed circumstances and living conditions at the time, suspecting that the abuse was repeated.

According to the investigators, the two have acknowledged the allegations of this time in regards to any previous hearings.
