The Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt, represented by its late artist Hani Shaker, was described. In a statement, Shaker said: “The Syndicate offers its deepest condolences to his family and the masses of Egyptians, praying to God that he be blessed with abundance of mercy and forgiveness, and that the great artistic legacy he provided to Egypt, and his support for principles and values ​​over the past years, will be his intercessor in the gardens of bliss.”

Shaker added that the able artist “is one of the artistic icons that presented an artistic heritage preserved by generations, and a national championship immortalized by the records of the Egyptian intelligence, and throughout his artistic career he presented dozens of distinctive songs, such as: (Who Said), (Ibn Egypt), and (In Love with Egypt) ) ».

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture also mourned the late artist. The Minister of Culture, Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, said: “Egypt has lost one of its heroes whom it is proud of, and their achievements remain bright marks in the national records, in addition to his unique and distinctive imprint in the world of singing, and his works that will remain immortal in the history of creativity.”

Stars were also keen on the obituary of Iskandarani, including the artist Mohamed Sobhi, who wrote through his Facebook account: “With all sorrow and sorrow, I received the news of the death of the friend and fellow artist Samir al-Iskandarani, this great patriotic man .. the fox of the Egyptian intelligence against Zionism, the sophisticated educated singer, And the wonderful larynx, on which he played the most beautiful melodies ... It is noteworthy that Iskandarani was born in the Ghouria neighborhood in Cairo in 1938, and his father was a furniture merchant, a lover of art, and a friend of a group of poets and composers, such as: Zakaria Ahmed, Bayram Al-Tunisi, and Ahmed Rami. Al-Iskandarani studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and traveled on a scholarship to Italy in 1958, when he was 20 years old, and he got acquainted with a young man of Jewish origin who tried to recruit him for the benefit of the Mossad, and offered to cooperate with him and collect information from inside Egypt in exchange for a large salary, and Iskandrani agreed to entrap him. Upon his return to Egypt, he informed the Egyptian intelligence and met President Gamal Abdel Nasser, who asked him to continue deceiving the Mossad to reveal his plans, and indeed he succeeded in that, and placed the most senior Mossad officer inside Egypt.

Technically, the late Samir Al-Iskandrani presented many distinctive singing works, including: “Oh my Lord and my beloved,” “We pledge to you, O Ghalya,” “Ibn Egypt,” “In the love of Egypt,” and “Oh beautiful, who forgot me.” And "Who said that time is not safe?" He also participated in singing the introductions of several series.
