The eighth bulletin - your publication (8/14/2020) continued the interaction of the pioneers of social media platforms by posting photos and videos of the 2013 sit-in dispersal, expressing their anger and condemnation of the Rab'a and al-Nahda massacres, and activists also shared pictures of the missing who are still searching for them for seven years.

Activists took part in a stand in front of the International Court of Justice in the Netherlands, demanding accountability for those responsible for the dispersal of the Rab'a sit-in.

The seventh anniversary of the dispersal of the Rab'a sit-in coincided with the death of the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Essam Al-Erian, in his prison cell in Scorpion Prison in Cairo, at the age of 66.

Al-Arian's lawyer confirmed that the prison authorities prevented him from visiting, as neither his family nor his lawyer had been able to visit him in prison for six months.

Al-Erian had held many leadership positions in the Brotherhood, as well as the vice president of the Freedom and Justice Party, before he was arrested following the coup that ousted the late President Mohamed Morsi in 2013.

Thus, the death of Al-Arian is the latest death among the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egyptian prisons.

The platforms interacted with the two simultaneous events, as the Egyptian writer Khaled Hamdy considered the memory of the fourth massacre on an annual basis in fulfillment of the cause, so he wrote: “Summoning the memory every year is not out of love for mourning and crying, but because forgetting the case - any case - is a betrayal of its owners, but the reminder was to keep it alive in the conscience.” .

The journalist Osama Gawish confirmed that a fourth memory means the memory of love for the homeland, so he said, “We clung to the revolution, so they fought us. We rejected the coup and killed us. On a day like this".

The human rights defender, Haitham Abu Khalil, called for an end to the massacres against the opposition, extending since the fourth anniversary, so he tweeted: Do something ... you can do a lot, as it is not the end of the line of absentee prayer. "

The former Egyptian Minister of Investment, Yahya Hamed, accused the Emirates of being behind the killing of civilians in Rab'a, so he wrote, "Whoever shed the blood of innocent people in Rab'a is the same team that agreed with the Zionist entity for years and brought out the relationship yesterday."

The head of the Egyptian Revolutionary Council considered Maha Azzam Rab'a as the rock of resistance, saying, "A fourth is not a memory but rather a rock upon which resistance against tyranny and dictatorship is built. A fourth represents the honorable refusal to steal their freedoms and rights."

On the other hand, Amnesty International demanded, in a series of tweets, that an investigation be conducted into the circumstances of Essam Al-Erian's death, the conditions of his detention and the extent to which he received medical care.

The organization added, "Al-Arian's death is a reminder of the harsh conditions faced by prisoners, especially in light of the deterioration of medical care services, and the additional risks that the spread of Covid-19 poses for prisoners."

It also called on the Egyptian regime to "immediately release all arbitrarily detained persons, including activists and human rights defenders."
