On August 13, a mudslide broke out at the Lahadi Railway Station of the Kun (Ming) He (kou) meter-gauge railway in Pingbian County, Yunnan Province. All 48 railway staff and their families were evacuated to safety.

It is understood that after the occurrence of a mudslide disaster, the railway department has always placed the transfer of personnel in the most prominent position, and coordinated scientific rescue and overall planning with the local government to ensure the safe evacuation of the workers and masses at the three gathering points in the disaster area.

Since entering the flood season, China Railway Kunming Bureau Group has strictly implemented the national and national railway group's flood prevention and disaster relief work deployment requirements, real-time monitoring of rainfall, strengthening of geological disasters and meteorological warnings, and timely blockade of areas with excess rainfall. For the Lahadi station where the debris flow disaster occurred this time, the Lahadi to Wantang line was blocked in time, which effectively reduced the impact of the debris flow disaster.

Currently, 48 employees and people have been properly arranged. The disaster-stricken lines and station areas have been completely blocked, and the relevant railway equipment management units are conducting detailed investigations on the damage to the lines, bridges, and houses, and further improving emergency rescue measures to provide guarantee for subsequent rescue.
