We learned this time that the medical team of the motherland is coming to help us fight the epidemic, and everyone is very excited. More than 10,000 people participated within a few days of our appeal.

The experienced medical team from the Mainland went to Hong Kong to provide support and guarantee. Hong Kong is now at the most critical juncture. If it is not controlled well and the epidemic breaks out, it faces high risks. The sincerity of our Volunteer Federation is to take up (take) responsibility at this time.

[Explanation] As early as the beginning of the epidemic this year, the Hong Kong Volunteers Alliance actively responded to the call of the SAR government by donating 300,000 hand sanitizers and 300,000 masks, and organizing the distribution of anti-epidemic materials to grassroots citizens for visits and delivery Anti-epidemic supplies go to disadvantaged communities and charities. Tens of thousands of volunteers are on the streets of Hong Kong, working day and night to fight the epidemic. Tan Jinqiu added that the volunteers will continue to go deep into the community and expose themselves to certain risks in different environments, but everyone comes to sign up without fear of risks, and they also bring their own protective equipment. He revealed that this recruitment of volunteers has "reacted very well" among young people. About 2,000 young people have joined, and they are more motivated than previous activities.

The response has been very good. I think especially young people who can join volunteer services can help them enhance their sense of responsibility for social harmony and mutual assistance.

[Commentary] Tan Jinqiu said that Hong Kong people are very happy with the assistance of a medical team sent by the country, and believe that with the strong support of the motherland, they will be able to fight the epidemic.

Regardless of the past or the present, I think it will be the same in the future. As long as Hong Kong needs it, I believe that the motherland is our strong backing and will definitely support it!
