Released in 1981, Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight is becoming a planetary hit again, thanks to American twins making the buzz on YouTube. On Thursday, the track was number two on the Itunes top, and its listenings increased by 1,100% on streaming platforms in a week.

Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight is experiencing a second youth. 39 years after its release, the Briton's song is once again a global hit: it is currently second on the top Itunes and is one of the most listened to titles in the world in recent days. Why such a comeback on the front of the stage? At the end of July, Tim and Fred Williams, two American teenagers, twins and youtubers, filmed themselves while they were listening for the first time to the famous track by Phil Collins.

The video of their listening to In The Air Tonight is almost eight minutes long and their reaction is hilarious. The drum solo projects them back onto their chairs, their hyper-expressive faces go through all stages. We feel them invaded and at the same time stunned by the music.

The video created a worldwide buzz. The sequence shot on all social networks last weekend. On Thursday, the video had more than 4.7 million views. Result: 1,100% more listenings for In The Air Tonight on streaming platforms compared to last week. Phil Collins can thank the two young Americans.
