China News Service, Hong Kong, August 13 (Wang Jiacheng) After the third wave of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hong Kong, many institutions will have to suspend or shorten their service time due to business operations that will cause crowds. In order to cope with the epidemic prevention work in Hong Kong, China Travel Service Hong Kong has also suspended the business of its document service centers. However, the Kowloon East Document Service Center in the Kowloon Bay Enterprise Plaza still maintains a service window for emergency documents to provide document collection services.

A few days ago, the Hong Kong China Travel Service website issued an emergency notice. The notice stated that the certification halls of the centers are crowded places. In order to cooperate with Hong Kong's epidemic prevention and control and protect public safety, the service center will temporarily suspend the acceptance of certificates until further notice. Applicants who have made an appointment to apply for a permit can reopen during office hours from Monday to Saturday during the reopening of external services this year. The original appointment registration number can be used to obtain chips from the enquiry counter of the reserved center to apply for a certificate. Each service center will also maintain a limited online appointment service. During the period, the Kowloon East Center will retain emergency counters and provide the following emergency services:

Mainland residents who have lost their travel permits to Hong Kong and Macau apply for return to the Mainland; need to return to the Mainland urgently to apply for a home visit permit for the first time; Mainland residents who work or study in Hong Kong with their stay endorsements must apply for a replacement permit if their travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao expire; Hong Kong residents who live in the Mainland must apply for a home return card After the expiration date or the expiration date, the 14-day compulsory quarantine in Hong Kong is urgently needed to be reissued and returned to the Mainland; and other urgently needed applications.

In addition, Hong Kong China Travel Service is located at the acceptance point of the departure hall of Luohu Port and the arrival hall of the Shenzhen Bay Port Joint Inspection Building. It also continues to provide a valid "entry-exit pass" (commonly known as Lintong) for one-time entry and exit. If the valid period of the Home Visit Permit for Hong Kong residents has expired, is damaged or lost, but still needs to return to Hong Kong or go to the Mainland urgently, you can present the invalid Home Visit Permit (not required for the lost person) and the Hong Kong identity document with your photo. Click to apply for "Pro Pass". If the applicant is under the age of 18, he or she must be accompanied by one of his parents or a legal guardian, and provide the original and copy of the ID card and the original and copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.

Regarding the concerns of those who are eager to apply for a permit, the CTS Group's Document Business Department responded that after the third wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong, taking into account the safety of employees and customers, the department regards epidemic prevention and control as a top priority and conducts prevention and control from all details. It can also take care of urgently needed certification services. It is said that about 40 guests come to the Kowloon East Document Service Center to apply for certificates every day for emergency reasons, and dozens of customers go to the exit hall of Luohu Port and the arrival hall of Shenzhen Bay Port to apply for temporary passes every day.
