New corona infection prevention Reservation required for river play Admission and time limit Gifu Hida August 12, 13:29

In the park in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture, which is popular for playing in the mountains, we have a reservation system for the use of rivers and limit admission and time in order to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.

The "Nakanjo River Fishing Park" in Hida City is popular for playing in the river and camping, making full use of the rich nature of the mountains, and is crowded with many families every year at this time of year.

This time, we have adopted a reservation system to avoid "dense" conditions due to the spread of the new coronavirus, and we restricted the park entry to four groups every 30 minutes and usage time to one and a half hours.

On the morning of the 12th, parents and children who booked entered the river with nets and fishing rods, and while the strong sunshine shone on, they were chasing after the released chars and trout.

A local woman who visited with my family said, "I couldn't go anywhere, so I made a reservation because I wanted to enjoy it locally. I was glad that the children also enjoyed it."

Koichi Nakahata, president of the park management company, said, “We are able to smoothly receive customers and avoid congestion. We are taking measures, so I want you to enjoy nature in peace.”
