A nurse was struck Tuesday in a bus in Neuilly-sur-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, by two teenagers whom she had asked to put on a mask, AFP learned Wednesday from a police source.

According to the police source, the two boys would have hit this woman "with punches, feet and head before putting her on the ground". Presenting "numerous superficial wounds and contusions", the victim refused to be taken care of by the firefighters.

Two teenagers placed in police custody

The two teenagers, born in 2004, were arrested after this assault, which occurred in the middle of the afternoon. They were still in custody on Wednesday, said the Bobigny prosecutor's office.

Friday, three men were indicted, including two for aggravated violence, after the assault with a stick in a laundromat in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, in Val-d'Oise, of a man who had asked to another customer to respect the wearing of the mask. The assault was filmed by CCTV cameras.

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin reacted to this aggression by denouncing “unbearable” images.
