Next Sunday, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) will launch a music program under the slogan: "The National Anthem of the United Arab Emirates", calling on all aspirants to develop their passion for music and launch into the creative horizons of Emiratis and residents to join the music program, which will continue until November 29. The authority announced that the program will conclude with a musical evening performed by the participants in the workshops, noting that choosing the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates as a slogan for the program comes as an embodiment of the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation, which brings together all who live on the land of the state, and what the program contributes to in terms of enhancing opportunities for communication and dialogue.
In cooperation between the Performing Arts Department and the Museums Department in the "Dubai Culture", the music program provides a platform for the development of promising musical talents, through a group of specialized workshops under the supervision of a group of musicians from the UAE, Arabs and foreigners.
The program focuses on discovering, supporting and developing the talents of emerging Emiratis and residents of the UAE, developing their skills and refining their experiences in the field of musical arts, through which it contributes to spreading musical awareness and musical culture among community members, integrating musical art into the Emirati cultural fabric, and establishing a conscious generation He possesses the ingredients for creativity and innovation, and is able to create a true artistic product that reflects the culture and identity of the UAE.
The music program includes a bouquet of interactive training workshops specialized in exploring energies and talents, most notably the basics of playing a range of stringed instruments, such as the lute, violin, guitar and law, in addition to oriental rhythms, types of Emirati and Arabic singing, the Emirati national anthem, as well as lectures on the relationship of music to health. Emotional and psychological, contemplative music and spiritual therapy through music, along with other interactive activities linking music with painting and poetry.
Dubai Culture aims, through this artistic program, to activate the musical movement in Dubai, and to establish a strong base for music that works to discover talents from new generations and enable them to become professional, thus contributing to enriching the sector with young talents in the fields of musical arts, leading to strengthening the emirate’s position as a center.
