- Of course I also want to get started and make fun events for the audience, but this is not an opportunity to think selfishly. Everyone must be helped and take responsibility. If we do not handle this in the right way, we will soon have no audience left to do fairs and concerts for, says Jesper Isberg.

The law of order has been tightened during the corona pandemic and stipulates that a maximum of 50 people may gather at events in stage and music. The current restrictions have been questioned by, among others, musicians, stage workers and artists who believe that it is unfair to have a 50-person rule for cultural events while, for example, restaurants, department stores and swimming pools may receive hundreds of guests.

- Concerts and fairs are about having a lot of people in a small area. If you complain about the 50 rule, then you have misunderstood the situation, in which case there are more places that should have this rule, not fewer, says Jesper Isberg.

"Human life and health are obviously more important"

Jesper Isberg has arranged Scifi fairs in Sweden since 1997 and his SciFiWorld is one of Sweden's oldest and largest fairs in the genre. There, visitors get the opportunity to meet like-minded people, meet exhibitors and actors and take photos with them. He does not see that it would be possible to arrange in an infectious manner.

- I am the first to think it is awful, but human life and health are of course more important, says Jesper Isberg and continues:

- I always try to find solutions but I think it is premature to try to force something right now. It is irresponsible and selfish. Wear a mask and keep your distance instead so we get rid of this and can drive fully later, says Jesper Isberg.

Stockholm Live about the criticism

Marie Lindqvist, CEO of Stockholm Live agrees that everyone must take their responsibility.

- We also do not ask that we open up the arenas now, but six to 18 months ahead we need to know what we should relate to, she explains.

- We believe that if we use every other seat and every other row, we could have a capacity of 25 to 30 percent. We want a dialogue about that.
