[Explanation] On August 10, the Hong Kong police took action and arrested 10 people including Li Zhiying, the founder of Next Media, and Zhou Ting, a former member of "Hong Kong Zhizhi", some of whom were suspected of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law.

  [Explanation] In the evening of the same day, Li Guihua, Senior Superintendent of the National Security Division of the Hong Kong Police Force, met with the media and stated that the police arrested 9 men and 1 woman, aged between 23 and 72, of which 5 men and 1 woman were suspected of violations. The crime of colluding with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security in the Hong Kong National Security Law.

  The National Security Agency investigated a gang at an earlier time. Their purpose was to promote and actively participate, asking foreign countries or some international organizations to sanction or block Hong Kong. During the investigation, we found that 2 men and 1 woman were responsible for running this organization in Hong Kong. After in-depth investigation, it was found that there was a group of people, probably all high-ranking media, who used foreign countries (bank accounts) to financially support the group. The most important thing is that the above-mentioned group is still actively operating after the promulgation of the Hong Kong National Security Law. We arrested 5 men and 1 woman in this incident.

  [Explanation] The police continued that the two arrested men suspected of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law and the other four arrested men were suspected of conspiracy to defraud. They are all high-ranking media officials who are suspected of using the plant at a low price by fraudulent means.

  [Commentary] In the morning, the police arrested Li Zhiying at his apartment in Kadoorie Road, Ho Man Tin. Subsequently, more than 100 uniformed police officers arrived at the Next Media Building and started a search operation. The 25 boxes of exhibits seized have been sent to the police station for investigation.
