In the absence of tourists, the French reclaim their cultural places. The Musée d'Orsay, which usually receives nearly 15,000 visitors a day, receives a third. The public comes mainly from Île-de-France. This is an opportunity to visit the flagship galleries of the usually crowded post-impressionists or to appreciate the temporary exhibitions without waiting long before entering them.
