[Explanation] Zhang Linsheng, a teacher from Xiangfen Middle School in Linfen City, Shanxi Province, died of illness and donated millions of inheritance to the school, which aroused social concern. On August 11, Zhang Linsheng’s brother Zhang Aiguo said in an interview that his brother was unmarried all his life and lived in poverty during his lifetime. The school is his home, and the students are his children.

　　Zhang Aiguo recalled that the younger brother had basically no entertainment activities before his death, and all his thoughts were used for teaching. As a political teacher and a class teacher, Zhang Linsheng will ask teachers of other subjects for the key points of the course and personally urge students to master the knowledge points of each subject.

He spends all his money in the class, and he also spends money to decorate the classrooms by himself, and to give the students water and quilts for fear of catching a cold. Which did not eat, buy food for the students. In life, I am afraid that the baby is sick.

　　[Explanation] Zhang Linsheng, born in 1960, has worked in Xiangfen Middle School for 38 years. He has been a class teacher since 1991 and was named an excellent teacher in China in 1995. He has also been named an excellent teacher, an excellent head teacher and an excellent Communist Party member many times.

　　When he got married, we also told him that he thought it was a delay (work). To be honest, I really don't understand him, and I even have a bit of resentment. What should I do when he is old? After this happened, (looking at) various awards, I have been excellent party members and model teachers every year, so I can really understand my brother.

　　[Explanation] On the hospital bed, Zhang Linsheng is still worried about his students. Before his death, he wrote a farewell letter to the students: "I regret not finishing the three-year high school study with you. I hope everyone can adapt to the new class life as soon as possible. I miss you all. I will bless you whenever and wherever possible. everyone."

　　[Explanation] In May 2019, 59-year-old Zhang Linsheng died of illness. According to his wishes, a 110-square-meter building, a 9-square-meter basement, 450,000 yuan in cash, 3 medals and 30 honorary certificates in Xiangfen County were all donated to Xiangfen Middle School. These donations will be managed by the school and set up a "temporary love bursary", which will be used every year to subsidize poor students with excellent academic performance.

　　When the memorial service was held, I did not expect that there were five or six hundred people. The students were all spontaneous, and they all came back from all over the country. The student representative, because he had no children, gave his children a sacrifice to the teacher. The scene was very moving.

　　[Explanation] On August 9, 2020, the statue of Teacher Zhang Linsheng, donated by school teachers, students and past graduates, was completed in Xiangfen Middle School. The young sculptor Liu Bo completed the statue of Teacher Zhang Linsheng in two months.
