American singer Lizzo has decided to diversify her activities.

Lizzo, she might be one of the coolest chicks around! She raps divinely well, has won three Grammy Awards and was voted "Artist of the Year" by "Time Magazine" and "Entertainment Weekly".

We have just heard an excerpt from his hit "Juice" which squatted the first places of the tops of the whole world. But that does not seem to be enough for her since Lizzo has just announced that she is embarking on parallel TV series projects with the Amazon Prime platform. An agreement that has just been signed. We do not yet know exactly in what form this collaboration will develop. But Lizzo is a feminist activist, black, who claims her curves and who describes herself as an ally of the LGBTQ community. So she should necessarily embark on very inclusive programs. There will be diversity on the platforms in the coming months. And we can't wait to see it!

A record that will have taken almost 30 years to see the light of day.

It's a pretty amazing story. That of the group "It's Immaterial", an English duo which had a great success in the 80s with their title "Driving Away from Home".

A few years later, in 1993 to be precise, the duo tackled their 3rd album entitled "House for sale". Titles were composed, a few models recorded and nothing more. Radio silence ! The two members of the group took other paths, by launching themselves in particular in the teaching of the music or by writing for the publicity or the theater. The beginnings of the album therefore remained fallow. But luckily the fans of the premiere didn't give up! They managed to convince them to go through with their project and 27 years later, the album has just been completed. It will be released next September but since we like to make you discover things a little ahead of time here at Culture Medias, I suggest you listen to an exclusive extract. Here is "Downriver" from the group It's Immaterial.

The cinemas are struggling, but the directors are overflowing with projects.

Exactly! Theater operators are sticking their tongue out, blockbusters are landing directly on streaming platforms and moviegoers are still having a little trouble returning to theaters. But hope is still there among creators! The announcements follow one another for a few weeks as if nothing had happened. The following are announced, among others: a biopic on Andy Wahrol with actor Jared Leto, a sequel to the cult film "Dirty Dancing" and an adaptation of the K2000 series (the Kitt car, David Hassellhof… coughed cough). In another style, Chiara Mastroianni and Viggo Mortensen will star in a film directed by Argentinian filmmaker Lisandro Alonso. And Madonna posted a video on her Instagram account this weekend where we see her in the middle of a work session with, at her side, Diablo Cody - the screenwriter among others of the film "Juno". Obviously, all these films will not be shot for a few months and a solution to the pandemic will have to be found by then. Because the current situation of world cinema is more than worrying. French cinemas, for example, have just published the figures for their attendance in July. And the drop is huge: - 70% compared to the same month last year.

And for Hollywood studios, the future looks very dark, especially at Warner Bros.

The ax fell yesterday: the studio will lay off more than 650 people in the coming weeks. Warner Bros (the studio among other franchises Harry Potter, Batman or the Lord of the Rings) has also just thanked 3 of its most senior officials. The HBO television channel, a subsidiary of the studio, will also be affected. 150 employees could be dismissed according to the American magazine "Variety". And this is only the beginning since Disney and NBC Universal are also on the verge of announcing a social plan. The Covid crisis is definitely catastrophic for the Hollywood industry.

Singer Angèle came out on Instagram on Monday.

Through a holiday photo where we see her sitting on a rock with a t-shirt on which is simply written "Portrait of Women who love Women". Or if you don't speak English: "Portrait of women who love women". A shot that has received thousands of comments and likes to congratulate it, especially from the singers Apple, Jeanne Added or Coeur de pirate. And it is not trivial this photo! Because it's over the days when record companies prevented artists from living their lives in the open. The idols of the new generation are emancipating themselves more and more and seem to refuse the dictates of the music industry. We also remember that Angela had released a very beautiful title on homosexual love. He was called "Your Queen".
