The sample bottle is returned to the collection point, and the testing contractor will send the sample to the laboratory for testing. If the taxi and public light bus drivers have not been tested in the last two rounds (that is, between July 17 and August 8), they can also go to the designated location to obtain a test kit to participate in the test.

  The Transport Department pointed out that employees holding a valid ferry operator’s staff card or a letter issued by the ferry operator, and drivers holding a valid taxi or public light bus driver’s card can bring a valid Hong Kong resident identity card to be tested at the designated time Register on-site at the kit distribution point and request a test kit.

If any test result is positive, the contractor will notify the Transport Department of the serial number of the test sample. If the serial number of the test sample belongs to a taxi or public light bus driver, or an employee of a ferry operator, the Transport Department will forward the information of the participant to the Centre for Health Protection for follow-up.   It is reported that each participant can only pass the test once through the plan.
