According to the official Weibo news of the Press Office of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region People’s Government, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Health Commission reported on August 9 from 0:00 to 24:00, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (including Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) Reported 14 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, 7 new asymptomatic infections, all in Urumqi; 47 newly cured and discharged confirmed cases, and 7 asymptomatic infections released from medical observation, all in Urumqi; severely transferred 2 cases of common type.
As of 24:00 on August 9, Xinjiang (including the Corps) currently has 592 confirmed cases (13 critically ill and 22 critically ill), including 589 in Urumqi, 1 in Kashgar (an epidemic-related case in Urumqi), and Changji Prefecture 1 case (imported from Urumqi City), 1 case from the Corps; there are 123 cases of asymptomatic infection, including 122 cases from Urumqi City and 1 case from Changji Prefecture (imported from Urumqi City); 16947 people are still under medical observation.
From 0:00 on July 15 to 24:00 on August 9, a total of 185 confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 78 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation.
