“I've been craving a sequel to Coyote Girls for a while now,” she said. I even contacted (the producer) Jerry Bruckheimer, the crew and the writer of the original and we discussed the possibility of doing so. As a reminder, the film features a young songwriter camped by Piper Perabo who goes to New York to break through with her songs.
But she eventually finds herself working in a bar, which will soon force her to overcome her greatest fear: performing in front of an audience.
20 years later
And if Tyra Banks isn't sure what she'd like to see in this sequel, Piper Perabo has her idea. “When we talked to Tyra, I was like, 'We really have to think about this. Because obviously, we are 20 years older and we have to rethink history. We are in the era of third wave feminism. Things have evolved and I would like the film to reflect that development, ”she said, adding that she would like to know who runs the famous Coyote Ugly Bar 20 years later. Case to be continued.
