Racial activists are promoting the toxic ideology of the BLM movement to the detriment of all other ideas. If you do not agree with the false statements of the members of this movement and do not share their conviction that Britain is inherently a racist state, then you will be considered an enemy.

Engaging in any racial conversation has become as dangerous as wading through a minefield. He said something wrong, and ... bang! You are treated like a real Kuklukklansman, and you are already removed from the circle of your pious friends for the rest of your life. British BLM activists have one single line: blacks are eternal victims of oppression, while whites are collectively guilty of persisting discrimination. That's all. No ifs, no buts. Ambiguity is ruled out. Dissent is not allowed. Just admit your guilt!

In the UK, the BLM operates as a rather secretive, opaque, umbrella organization that brings together many different groups with no clear leadership. And yet its participants, going out on marches, demolishing monuments and crushing the information field of social networks, somehow managed to become such arbiters in racial matters.

But there might still be some improvement here. The Equiano Project was recently launched, named after the 18th century figure Olauda Equiano, a former slave who became the first political activist in Britain's African community. This project is a whiff of common sense in the stifling atmosphere created by British followers of the BLM movement, promoting their toxic, imported version of identity politics.

Project Equiano, founded by 24-year-old Inaya Folarin Iman, publicist, activist and former Brexit candidate, wasted no time in tackling the hot topic by launching an online initiative this week that could have lasting impact on the tone and content of British race discourse.

London school director Katharine Birbalsingh criticized ideas such as teaching to combat unconscious biases, “decolonizing” the curriculum and compulsory study of black personalities, noting that the latter is a manifestation of the very institutional racism publicly condemned by the BLM movement.

“Anyone who has overcome at least one obstacle in his life knows that if you devote all your time only to worrying about the impossibility of overcoming the obstacle, it will remain insurmountable,” she said. “I'm not going to spend all my time pleading with whites to be trained to combat unconscious bias. This will distract me from what really brings results, namely from working to ensure that children learn algebra, come on time and do what is asked. "

In general, I must say that Ms. Birbalsingh, as the head of the "strictest school in the UK" (according to the BBC), of course, already has a certain track record when it comes to discussing the racial issue.

So, commenting on the Black Box Day campaign on Instagram in June (when users posted black squares on their accounts), she criticized the "awakened" from the middle class with their posts on the network.

She said: “You are some PR guy, you work in the city center, you get good money, live in a good apartment and drive a good car. But now you have posted a black square on Instagram, and now you are a cool non-racist. You are a good guy. Actually, doing good deeds is a lifelong occupation. When you do good, you make enemies. You are not part of this group. "

Oh, Mrs Birbalsingh, you are a treasure! But I got distracted ...

Returning to Project Equiano, academics Helen Placrose also criticized Black Lives Matters, discussing the effects of its toxic dogma on both sides of the racial divide.

Whites, she said, "are expected to accept and acknowledge that they are inevitably socialized in racism, that they have internalized  white supremacy and that they need to validate this and talk about how they could destroy the white system."

Meanwhile, people of African and Asian descent and other ethnic minorities are expected to “testify to a certain type of racism that they face in almost every area of their lives, and if they don’t, then they will either internalized white supremacy , or selfishly trying to get some advantages for themselves at the expense of other members of the non-white population.

Placrose, a fairly active Twitter user, got, as they say, not in the eyebrow, but in the eye. So, perhaps in the future, Project Equiano, a broad coalition that brings together, frankly, mainstream liberals and like-minded scientists, will be at the forefront. Contributions from its members to British discourse on race are certainly welcome.

After all, a direct consequence of the advancement of the extremely divisive dogma of the BLM movement was the performance this weekend in London by members of the Forever Family Force, who are equipped with similar military equipment and balaclavas, throw their fists in the air, behave aggressively and as one promote the idea that Britain is so racist country that the only hope for blacks is to organize their own resistance.

Sorry for the harshness, but all this is some kind of nonsense, which, apparently, I'm not the only one who has no desire to digest. Therefore, praise to heaven that the voices of sanity are finally reinforced here.

This is just the right time.
