Recently, a heart-warming scene was staged on the banks of Biyang Lake in Biqixingguan District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. When an egret was looking for food in Biyang Lake, it was suspected of being entangled in water and unable to take off.
The sanitation workers by the lake saw this scene and prepared to rescue the egret with a long bamboo pole. Because the location where the egret is trapped is far away from the shore, the long bamboo poles cannot touch the egret. Upon seeing this, former citizens Wang Haidong and Zhang Ning went to the lake to rescue the trapped egret, and rescued the dying egret with the help of other citizens. Subsequently, the egret was sent to the animal hospital for treatment. After treatment, the egret can now stand.
