The chicken would be the oldest and indispensable companion of man! On Earth, for more than 8000 years, no one has traveled more than him. The chicken has strong, well-made legs, an outstanding globetrotter!

Our "chicken" has accommodated all the spices, blended into the flavors of men, their rites and traditions.

Chicken testifies better than anyone to the culinary richness of a country, to the history and migrations of men, their evolution, and those of their cuisine. The breathtaking gallinaceous is invited to all the tables and all the plates of the world - with the exception, because it takes one to confirm the rule - of those vegetarians and vegans.

Hundreds of recipes and chicken stories, 1,000 for this first book, “  It took a thousand stops to finish and publish the book, but there's so much more  ! », Says Mireille Sanchez, the earthy and sparkling author of«  The Voyageur Chicken, 1000 recipes and other chicken stories  », published by BPI editions. The chicken and the desire to follow its path around the world was born from a meal with friends, one evening, the first evening of years of travel - 7 years -, research, peregrinations, delights that resulted. This book is pecked on, forgotten, found with greed. The more serious will find plenty of information on "  Gallus Gallus  ", the original chicken, will travel to Easter Island, in the aisles of the Chicken Museum in Korea, then let themselves be seduced like any good lover of crispy poultry by the roast chickens, grilled wings, mashed peppers, Korean kimchi recipes, Vietnamese Pho, comforting dumplings - mahtoz balls-, soups ... He is the king of the street with his kebabs, broths, a discreet, unconquerable king. The fascinating thing about chicken is that everything is eaten at home and that with it everything is good, even in a sweet version!

In 2020, he will begin a tour de France of chickens to help amateurs discover certain breeds which, moreover, have almost disappeared like the “cuckoo clock from Rennes”. Le Coq Rico, perched on the Butte Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, is entirely dedicated to eggs and chickens.
