On August 7, visitors stopped to watch the costumes worn by Cixi's funeral. On the same day, the "Relics of the Harem: Qing Dong Tomb Cixi and Concubine Rong Costume Restoration Exhibition" opened at the China Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. 20 silk cultural relics including the funeral costumes of the Empress Dowager Cixi were unveiled. This batch of cultural relics mainly came from the excavations of the underground palace of the Dingdong Tomb of Cixi and the palace of the Rongfei Garden, and the transfer of the Palace Museum in Beijing. They arrived in Hangzhou in batches in 2014 and were restored in July 2019. Photo by China News Agency reporter Wang Gang
