Shiga Nagahama One house was burnt down and could not communicate with two people August 7 9:10
Early in the morning on the 7th, there was a fire in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, where one house burned down.
According to the police and fire department, we are unable to contact the two people living in this house, so we are proceeding with confirmation and investigating the cause of the fire.
At around 4:30 am on the 7th, residents in Mikawa-cho, Nagahama-shi reported that "the house next door is burning" to the fire department.
Ten fire engines came out to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished about two and a half hours later, but this fire completely burned down a wooden two-story house.
According to police and fire departments, there were two adult men living in this house, but they were unable to contact them after the fire.
Police and fire departments are proceeding with confirmation and investigating the cause of the fire.
The site is a residential area about a kilometer east of Torahime Station on the JR Hokuriku Main Line.
