On the night of August 6-7, continuous heavy rainfall caused a mudslide disaster in Xiazhai Village, Yixiang Town, Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province. One person died, roads were interrupted, two houses collapsed, and many houses were damaged.
At 8:11 on August 7, the Pu'er City Forest Fire Brigade quickly launched the mudslide disaster rescue implementation plan, and carried some rescue equipment to the village.
As of 18:00, the rescue team had dredged 800 meters of ditches, 150 meters of rural roads, cleared 100 cubic meters of silt, cut and removed about 500 cubic meters of fallen wood, and transported 5 tons of debris. Reinforced 15 commanders and fighters have transported 100 tents to the disaster area, and the commanders and fighters are nervously setting up tents.
