Sanhe Village, with an average elevation of 2,520 meters, is located in Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan. In the past, 90% of the villagers lived in rudimentary adobe houses with very difficult living conditions. At the beginning of 2018, Sanhe Village started its poverty alleviation and relocation. A total of 9 resettlement sites were set up in the village. It is planned to relocate 151 poor households and 204 non-poor households as a whole.
On February 11, 2019, Ji Hao, a villager in Sanhe Village, also asked his family to move into a spacious new home of about 100 square meters, and used the room vacated in the new home to run a small shop. Life is getting more and more prosperous and he has successfully lifted out of poverty. .
