According to the official Weibo report of the Network Security Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Dehui City, Jilin Province, at 13:35 on August 3, the Huifa Police Station of the Public Security Bureau of Dehui City received a report from the villagers of Hongjia Village, Huifa Street The police reported that there was a male newborn baby in the grass on the north side of Wukaihe Bridge in Hongjia Village.
After investigation, Guo (female), a citizen of Dehui, was suspected of committing a major crime, and the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Dehui City immediately arrested Guo. After interrogation, Guo learned that at 8 pm on August 1, Guo gave birth to a baby boy in a residential building in Dehui City. At 8 o'clock in the evening on August 2nd, Guo was holding the baby boy and preparing to return to his family's home in Buhai Town, Dehui City. He threw the baby boy into the grass under the bridge when he passed the Wukai River Bridge in Hongjia Village, Huifa Street. The Public Security Bureau of Dehui City has taken criminal coercive measures against the suspect Guo, and the case is under further investigation.
The baby boy has been sent from the Changchun Children’s Welfare Institute to the Changchun Children’s Hospital for rescue and is now out of danger. It was temporarily adopted by Changchun Children's Welfare Institute.
