China News Service, August 6 According to the official Weibo news of the Guangdong Health Commission, there were no new confirmed cases in Guangdong Province from 0-24 on August 5. 3 newly imported asymptomatic infections were reported from Guangzhou, 2 were from Zambia, and 1 was from the UAE. All of the above were found at the port of entry and were quarantined for observation after entry.
As of 24:00 on August 5th, a total of 1,687 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (292 imported from abroad) have been reported in Guangdong. There are currently 18 cases in hospital.
