Beijing News Express (Reporter Deng Qi) PM2.5 in the southeastern part of Beijing rose rapidly this morning, and PM2.5 concentrations at some sites rose by 100 micrograms/m3 within 4 hours, reaching a level 4 moderate pollution level. The Beijing Environmental Monitoring Center stated that the transmission of polluted areas has pushed up the level of pollution in Beijing to a certain extent.
According to the analysis of the center, the Beijing area is controlled by the equalizing field today, the relative humidity on the ground is relatively high, the highest is close to 90%, the ground is easterly wind is 1-2, and the atmospheric diffusion situation is relatively normal. Under the action of easterly winds in the early morning, PM2.5 at the southeastern border of Beijing rose first, and other stations in the east also experienced rapid increases in PM2.5 from 3 to 7 am. Among them, the Dongsi Station in Dongcheng and the Chaoyang Agricultural Exhibition Hall Station increased by 100 μg/m3 in 4 hours from 2 am to 5 am, reaching peak concentrations of 130 μg/m3 and 125 μg/m3 respectively at 5 o'clock. As the ground is dominated by easterly winds, the transmission of polluted areas has pushed up the concentration level in Beijing to a certain extent.
