Key areas, key populations, high-risk and susceptible populations such as residential communities and concentrated medical observation points have begun a new round of nucleic acid testing."
At the press conference, Rui Baoling said that the newly confirmed cases yesterday (4th) were all screened through nucleic acid testing, including 2 cases for community screening and 20 cases for intensive medical observation personnel.
According to data reported by Rui Baoling, from 0:00 to 24:00 on August 4, Urumqi City reported 22 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 13 new asymptomatic infections. The number of newly confirmed cases continued to decline. On the same day, 10 new confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 5 new asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation. From 0:00 on July 15 to 24:00 on August 4, a total of 52 confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 42 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation.
Rui Baoling said that although the number of new cases is declining, the situation of epidemic prevention and control is still very severe, and there is no room for relaxation.
