Xinhua News Agency, Shanghai, August 5 (Reporter Yuankun Jia) Recently, the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity, Ning'an Intercity, and Ningqi Railways in the Yangtze River Delta region have tried scanning codes on trains. Passengers can use the "Railroad e-card" application to scan codes in and out. station. Rail travel has become increasingly public transportation, which has further upgraded the integrated rail transport network in the Yangtze River Delta.

According to reports, the "Railway e-card" is a real-name e-card product launched on the basis of the full application of e-tickets by railways, and no physical cards are issued. Passengers use the 12306 official App to complete the "railway e-card" registration and recharge by themselves, and scan the QR code of the train through the gate to complete the entry and exit and deduct the fare.

The trains with the "railway e-cartoon" service have reserved exclusive seats, and passengers can go wherever they go when they take this type of train as if taking a bus. The reimbursement voucher can be printed at the self-service ticket vending machine at the station within 31 days from the date of scanning the code.

It should be noted that the code scanning ride defaults to taking second-class seats, and the passenger's travel interval is determined according to the passenger's normal entry and exit records, and the corresponding fare is deducted from the passenger's frozen pre-authorized amount according to the second-class seat fare. When entering the station with the "Railway e-card" QR code, the balance in the account must not be less than 150 yuan. If the balance is insufficient, you cannot scan the code to enter the station.

Information technology provides important support for railway travel. National general-speed railways have implemented e-tickets since June 20, marking that railway tickets have entered the "paperless" era. As of July 31, the Yangtze River Delta Railway had sold 73.123 million e-tickets for 42 days, which not only allowed railway travel to be fully controlled, but also helped the railway improve service quality and passenger transport organization efficiency.

Currently, summer transportation is in the peak season. According to statistics, the Yangtze River Delta Railway sent 46.841 million passengers during the summer vacation from July 1 to 31, accounting for 23.2% of the national railway volume, with an average of 1.511 million passengers per day, an increase of 18.5% from the previous month. The application of code scanning and e-tickets will help summer transportation more efficient and convenient.
