The famous video-on-demand platform will introduce a new option: it will be possible to watch movies or series in accelerated or slow motion. But this option is not unanimous, especially among actors and directors.

Netflix in decline? Not at the moment, but the video on demand platform has been at the heart of a new controversy for a few hours. For the first time, Netflix will add an option on Android phones and tablets: it will be possible to watch movies and series in time lapse. Users will be able to watch their videos at real speed, 1.25 and 1.5 times faster, or conversely in slow motion (0.5 or 0.75 times real speed).

A gain of twenty minutes for a one hour episode

But the boss of Netflix doesn't care: a few years ago, the official platform account on Twitter claimed that sleep was "his biggest enemy".
