It is the last crossover of the summer between “juillettistes” and “augustians”, and like every year, you will not be surprised, the traffic promises to be complicated on the holiday roads. Bison Futé sees black for the region on Saturday and even foresees "exceptionally difficult" traffic.

The main slowdowns and traffic jams are to be expected everywhere: on the A10 connecting Paris and Bordeaux, on the A61 and A62 connecting Bordeaux and Narbonne via Toulouse, on the A43 and A7 in the Auvergne-Rhône region -Alps, and on the A9 around the Mediterranean, in the direction of departures and returns.

Slowdowns from Friday

Friday is classified as green in both directions at the national level, but orange on the Mediterranean arc. "The end of the weekend will be marked by more significant returns," said the traffic information body in its press release. Sunday is thus classified green at the national level in the sense of returns but orange in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and around the Mediterranean.
