Male prison officer at Osaka Detention Center confirmed infection with new corona 11:03 on August 5

It was confirmed that a male prisoner in his twenties working at the Osaka Detention Center was infected with the new coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Justice, a male prison officer in his twenties who works at the Osaka Detention Center had a fever symptom before going to work on the 30th of last month, so he went to a medical institution and had a PCR test. And on the 4th, the infection was confirmed.

The prison officer was witnessing visits to prisoners, so at the Osaka Detention Center, prisoners who seemed to have contacted the staff were taken in private rooms to prevent infection.

At the Osaka Detention Center, eight prison officers were confirmed infected in April this year, but now they are all back in work.
