A few days ago, on TV, we discussed the first two terrorist attacks in Ukraine with the remarkable Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky. I assumed that other inadequate people would follow the example of the Lutsk terrorist who took the passengers of the bus hostage. He managed not only to communicate with the president and, possibly, to feel himself for a moment equal to the first person of the country. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also fulfilled his idiotic demand to record a video message to citizens with a request to pay attention to an American documentary on the topic of animal protection. Actually, the very next day the ATO veteran, who tried to steal the car, took a policeman hostage at the crime scene and then hid from pursuit in the forest for a whole week until he was killed by the security forces.

My interlocutor disagreed. According to Mikhail Pogrebinsky, the Lutsk case was not a real terrorist attack, but was pure imitation, which explains the strange behavior of the security forces, who did not take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of citizens at the scene of the seizure. And no less strange behavior of the terrorist at the moment when he got off the bus to surrender. The imitation, the Kiev political scientist said on a TV program, cannot be replicated, and besides, real bandits have more important things to do than organize hostage-taking and risk their freedom and life.

But, as it turns out, the Ukrainian journalist who gave his article on the same topic the headline "We are expecting an invasion of psychos", most likely, was right. A new terrorist attack attempt was made by a man who, judging by his demands and a statement to the press, is clearly not all right with his mental health. A citizen of Uzbekistan, Sukhrob Karimov, took hostages at a bank branch in the Leonardo business center in the very center of the city and, threatening to detonate a bomb, which he either brought or did not bring with him in his backpack, demanded an amount equivalent to $ 1,440, and also going live on one of the Ukrainian TV channels. Journalists were allowed to see him, and while he was making a statement, police officers broke into the bank and tied the intruder.

What did Karimov manage to inform Ukrainian citizens about while he was on the air? The fact that they have elected a "jester" as president and that no improvement has been observed in the country.

This is a very serious political science observation, for the sake of which, of course, it was worth being in prison or a psychiatric hospital. The details of this story suggest that the "psychos invasion" has already begun. And if we take into account the general situation in Ukraine: poverty, unemployment, a catastrophic increase in crime, a lack of prospects for the future, the coronavirus epidemic that cannot be brought down, the Nazis who continue to impose the political agenda on the authorities and the population with a complete lack of support, it is easy to assume that inadequate people there are quite a few ideas in the country with overvalued ideas, such as those voiced by Karimov.

In addition, a colossal amount of unregistered weapons that have been removed from the combat zone are “walking” across Ukraine. The same Mikhail Pogrebinsky told me that, according to some information, about a million trunks are now in illegal circulation. So getting hold of a pistol, machine gun or even a machine gun is not a problem at all. The Lutsk terrorist told law enforcement officers that he had borrowed a weapon from a friend.

Yes, of course, psychos are not professional terrorists and in most cases they do not plan to kill hostages. But this is for the time being. People with a mental disorder behave unpredictably, and sooner or later a person with a severe mental disorder may well appear on the stage. God alone knows what he will see, what vague and desperate fears will govern his behavior. A person whose connection with reality turns out to be extremely fragile and walled up in a deep psychosis may well pull the trigger. Not as a terrorist, but simply as a sick person. Human sacrifices will become the next stage of that marathon, which was given the green light by Vladimir Zelensky.

For the Ukrainian ruler himself, the situation is also very unfavorable. He opened Pandora's Box ahead of local elections in late October. All of his opponents will use each new case in order to finally undermine his rating. And it cannot be said that their efforts will not be crowned with success. After all, you cannot argue with the fact that it was the president who gave the start to the "invasion of psychos".
