Public health center conducts field research on corona countermeasures for restaurants and live houses Tokyo, August 5, 4:13 pm

In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, a public health center in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, has begun a field survey to confirm that the necessary infection control measures are being taken at restaurants and live houses with entertainment.

On the night of the 4th, eight Edogawa public health center staff members surveyed around JR Koiwa Station.

Among them, in the live house, measures are taken to prevent flying by setting a transparent plate between the stage and the seats, and the public health center staff wears a mask, installs alcohol disinfectant, and I was checking in detail whether the intervals were sufficient.

Every summer, the public health center conducts a field survey to prevent food poisoning, and this time we also decided to confirm measures against infection with the new coronavirus.

Beginning on the 3rd in Tokyo, all restaurants that serve sake are requested to shorten business hours by 10 pm.

The owner of the live house surveyed said, "We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves by making sure that the infection countermeasures are sufficient."

Kenji Ishikawa, Deputy Counselor at the Edogawa Public Health Center, said, "I want to proceed with a thorough investigation, with one point being whether or not the flight is properly prevented."

The Edogawa Public Health Center plans to survey about 750 restaurants, including restaurants with entertainment, by 31st of this month.
