The Supreme Administrative Court in Egypt has imposed a punishment for dismissing an assistant teacher at the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University for the penalty of dismissal due to manipulation of the degrees of a Kuwaiti student, according to the newspaper "Al-Ahram". The court indicated that the Kuwaiti student failed in 5 subjects, including article zero out of 20, and all of them were modified from the failures of Najeh.
The court clarified that "the teacher, has accessed the degrees of the Kuwaiti student through his offer to help his colleagues in correcting the exams and setting the grades and was able by this means to be present without requiring the control of the third year, and by that he was able to acquire the brochures to answer the Kuwaiti student's nationality and tampered with and manipulated the degrees intentionally Behind this, the Kuwaiti student’s condition changed from failing to successful.
In its ruling, the court affirmed what it called "the primacy of the values of science and the upholding of the values of integrity, and that the university is a luminous beacon that spreads the spirit of science, knowledge and morals and knocks the scales of account on the faculty members and their assistants."
