Governor Omura of Aichi Prefecture held a press conference and announced that the number of newly confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in the prefecture was 109 by the end of 3:30 pm.
This was below the record high of 193 people on the 31st of last month, but exceeded 100 people for the 8th consecutive day.
Test results have not yet been announced for Toyohashi City and Toyota City.
A total of 2,380 people were confirmed infected in Aichi Prefecture.
