Qujiawan Town is located in Honghu, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. The birthplace of the Honghu Red Guard is in this ancient town. The former capital of the Western Hunan and Hubei Revolutionary Base is located on a vicissitudes of old street here. This old street has long been listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. There are 39 old revolutionary sites in existence, making it an excellent national patriotism education base and Hubei Provincial National Defense Education Base.

On August 3, the reporter approached this ancient town and stepped onto the narrow long street paved with bluestone slabs. From the old houses with blue bricks and black tiles on both sides of the old street, it seemed to be reading a piece of red history. The quaint old residences, pieces of revolutionary cultural relics, the spinning wheel of the Red Army weaving, ancient stone mills... 39 preserved revolutionary sites and ruins here interpret the glorious history of Qujiawan that cannot be forgotten.
