Information management system for new corona-infected persons in Tokyo started operation 18:42 on August 3

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government started operation of a system that centrally manages information of people infected with the new coronavirus introduced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on the 3rd.

This system is called "HER-SYS" that centrally manages the information of infected people.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare introduced this in May this year to reduce the burden on public health centers, and the city began operating this system on the 3rd.

In addition to basic patient information, the system allows medical institutions and public health centers to enter information such as symptoms, places and routes of infection, whether or not they are hospitalized, and their daily health status, which can be shared by the city or country. I will.

In addition, since the patient himself/herself can input the health condition from a smartphone or the like, it is possible to save the time and labor required for the public health center to call and hear the patient.

Until now, the city used to send a “report of incident” created by a medical institution via fax etc. regarding the information of infected persons.

For this reason, depending on the capital, there were a series of missed reports and mistakes that were recorded in duplicate, and 123 people were corrected twice so far, and the metropolitan government said that introducing the system would prevent mistakes.
