"Flower Rain on the Silk Road" and "Dream of Dunhuang" are large-scale folk dance dramas with the Silk Road culture as the background and Dunhuang murals as the background. They are also two major cultural cards of Gansu. It has been 41 years since "Flower Rain on the Silk Road" was created and performed in 1979; and 20 years have passed since the premiere of "Dream of Dunhuang" in April 2000. These two dance dramas have promoted the diversified development of Dunhuang dance, Indian dance, folk dance and other dance dramas, and also demonstrated the magnificence and colorfulness of Dunhuang culture to the whole country and the world.

On the evening of August 8th, the two dance dramas will be performed on the same stage at the Lanzhou Concert Hall for a "dialogue" performance, colliding artistic sparks.
Zuo Li, a national first-level actor and full-time vice chairman of the Gansu Dancers Association, said that the day's event will be divided into three parts: "cultural salon" interviews, classic fragments, and close-up performances of the protagonist of the repertoire.
