Facebook is taking action against Dieudonné. The American group announced on Monday that it had definitively banned the French polemicist from Facebook and Instagram for "content mocking the victims of the Shoah" and "dehumanizing terms against the Jews".

This sanction comes a few weeks after the deletion of its YouTube channel, a decision taken by Google following "repeated breaches" of their regulations. Since 2019, the video platform has tightened its regulations against hate speech.

No place on Facebook

“In accordance with our policy on dangerous individuals and organizations, we have permanently banned Dieudonné M'Bala M'Bala from Facebook and Instagram. Banning someone permanently from our services is a decision that we always carefully weigh, but individuals and organizations who attack others on the basis of who they are have no place on Facebook or Instagram ”, explained a spokesperson for the digital giant.
