The orange “heat wave” vigilance is maintained on Sunday in two departments, Ardèche and Drôme, against 13 previously, according to Météo-France forecasts. From Alsace to the Massif Central and the Northern Alps, the weather is threatening and sometimes stormy showers are frequent. In the afternoon they tend to run out in the Massif Central and Alsace, on the other hand from the Jura to the Northern Alps and the Mercantour, sometimes stormy rains persist, before easing at the end of the day.

On the Mediterranean rim, the day is sunny despite a few passing clouds, Mistral and Tramontane blowing up to 60 to 70 km / h in gusts. In the rest of the country, after an often very cloudy morning, the sky becomes brighter in the afternoon. Only the Pyrenean foothills remain encumbered throughout the day by clouds sometimes giving a few drops.

Minimum temperatures are falling over most of the country with 14 to 19 degrees in general, 11 to 14 degrees in Brittany, on the other hand they still remain high in the Alsace plain and from the Rhone corridor to the Mediterranean, with minimums of 19 to 24 degrees. Maximum temperatures are between 29 and 34 degrees in the middle Rhône valley around the Mediterranean, locally 35 to 37, up to 38 to 39 degrees in the Var. In the rest of the country, maximum temperatures are between 23 and 28 degrees in general, between 19 and 23 near the English Channel.
