The artist Hanan Shawky appealed to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to obtain her rights from some production companies, as well as not to summon the producers to them and keep them without work for a while.
Shawky wrote in her account on Facebook: "I appeal to the esteemed president, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the president of the Egyptians, and I tell him, Mr. President ... Your honor, I said before that everyone in Egypt will get his right and we are not satisfied with anyone's injustice."
Shawky added: "I complain to you as an Egyptian person who lives on the land of this country. I have rights with Egyptians working in the field of art and refuse to give me my right. I have dealt with a production company, and I have had money for years and refuse to give me the rest of my rights."
And she continued, "I complain to you, Mr. President, that production companies ignore the actors and actresses who have been sitting in their homes for some time without work, so what do they do and art is their only source of livelihood? Do we die of hunger or die by oppression? My President, you and many of my friends resort to you to solve our problems, and may God help you We have, and may God preserve Egypt, "
and the artist attributed the reason that she was unable to go to court because she does not have enough money for that."
