  On the evening of July 29, the "Hong Kong Independence" organization "Student Dongyuan" posted a message on the social networking site that the former convener of the organization Zhong Hanlin was at his Yuen Long residence at about 8:50 pm on the 29th to incite others to split. Police arrested for national crimes and took away several bags of exhibits.

  After the "Hong Kong National Security Law" came into effect on June 30, Zhong Hanlin, the former convener of the "Hong Kong Independence" organization "Student Dongyuan", ceased all affairs in Hong Kong and demobilized all members in Hong Kong in accordance with the organization's constitution.

  According to the "Hong Kong National Security Law", the four types of crimes, including secession of the country, subversion of state power, terrorist activities, and crimes of colluding with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security, are punishable by up to life imprisonment.
