The toaster, the TV, the microwave, the video game console… nothing. Since 10 a.m. this morning, no device has been working in nearly 5,000 homes in the south of Alès, reports France Bleu Gard Lozère.
The current jumped in the municipalities of Saint-Christol-lès-Alès, Bagard and Ribaute-les-Tavernes. The cause of the failure? It is unknown according to Enedis, whose teams are currently working on two underground cables and an overhead cable.
Contacted by local radio, the supplier ensures that electricity will be restored around 8 p.m.
