A former Bollywood star, Miss Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and her eight-year-old daughter have been discharged from the hospital where they have been staying since mid-month in Bombay because of an infection with the new Coronavirus, as announced yesterday Monday by Abhishek Bachchan, the actress’s husband.

The husband wrote on Twitter, "Fortunately, the results of the examination conducted for Aishwarya and her wills were negative, and they were allowed to leave the hospital."

"My father and I will stay in the hospital," he added.

Aishwarya, 46, wanted to be isolated in their home, but was later transferred to the hospital after suffering "breathing difficulties," according to the Times of India newspaper.

The Trust of India news agency reported that they were "in good shape", quoting a source in the hospital where Aishwarya's husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan and his father, Amitabh Bachchan, were the most famous representatives of Indian cinema.
