On the night of the 27th, a house was completely burnt down in Saitama City, and two people were found dead from the burnt site. Losing contact with the 90- and 87-year-old couple living in this house, police are inspecting the cause of the fire as well as confirming the identity of the body.
At around 10 pm on the 27th, a 61-year-old daughter who came home found a fire from the house of Mr. Yukio Takahashi (90), Matsuki, Midori-ku, Saitama City (90), and notified the fire department.
The fire was almost extinguished approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes later, but one wooden two-story house was completely burned down, and two people were found dead from the burned site.
Also, my daughter had a throat burn and was taken to the hospital.
According to the police, Mr. Takahashi and his 87-year-old wife and daughter are living in this house, and they are unable to contact the couple after the fire.
The police believe that the two may have been late and have proceeded to confirm the identities of the bodies and are investigating the cause of the fire.
